Aşa că nu ar strica, poate, o punere în discuţie a eficacităţii celor două mijloace legale de apărare. Într-o situaţie reală, după ce pistolul a fost scos, încărcătura de zgomot (cea cu flacără la gura ţevii) trasă dar impactul psihologic nu a fost suficient pentru a-l potoli pe potenţialul agresor, ce ar fi mai eficient: 7 -8 proiectile traumatice în "figură" sau 7-8 încărcături de gaz formând un nor dens?
Mă refer la pistol, nu la revolver, deci nu pun în discuţie încărcături mixte - pentru că vreau să păstrez avantajul încărcării automate.

CN / Mace gas (Chloracetophenon), the classical teargas.
Possible effects on persons when using Irritant Cartridges CN :
Uncomfortable, acute and invcoluntary effects such as stinging of eyes and nose, extreme flow of tears, sneezing, nausea, difficulty of breathing, irritation and burning sensation of skin
CS gas (Chlorbenzalmalodinitril), a more effective type of teargas, also known as "pukegas".Umfortunately the quantiti per case is limited ( 80mg ).
Possible effects on persons when using Irritant Cartridges CS :
Uncomfortable, acute and invcoluntary effects such as stinging of eyes and nose, flow of tears, coughing, sneezing, nausea, difficulty of breathing, nausea, irritation and burning sensation of skin
Pepper gas (Nonivamid or Capsicin), extracted out of peppersheets. Works much better than the types described before.

In Germany, CN and CS gas are allowed to be used in selfdefence against humans. Pepper gas is only allowed against animals!!
